SQUIDS is a comedy feature film that bravely tackles the (not real) world of competitive scooter racing.
After losing their beloved mentor days before the big national Scooter Race, the inexperienced Norah and her two best friends seek out the guidance of a reclusive idol to take down a wealthy, rival crew.
Written and directed by me, SQUIDS began back in 2019 and is now finally ready to unleash onto audiences in 2026!
Starring pretty much every Melbourne-based improviser including Tiana Hogben, Diona Hill, Millie Holten, Barney Pollock and Tom Burton, this low budget indie revives the extreme sport genre from the 80s & 90s with a silly new spin.
My dream is for this film to be critically and commercially panned but then over time gain an appreciation and dedicated fanbase.
Please help make my dream come true by riding over to the retro SQUIDS website and also watching this fun trailer here!
THE Y2K BUG is a 4-part comedy web series that takes us all the way back to 1999.
The Y2K Bug, a deadly computer virus, infects and travels through the world's most popular television shows of 1999.
Before the Y2K revival became an internet and fashion trend, me and some friends made this series in 2017 on the tiniest of budgets and lots of favours. The result was this high-concept nostalgia trip with plenty of charm.
Each episode parodies a different genre of television show from the Y2K era. There’s the sleek tech thriller, the soapy high school drama, the family friendly sitcom, and the gritty crime procedural.
This series was written/produced by me, directed/produced by Molly Daniels, and stars Matt Jenner, Geraldine Viswanathan, Lucy Barrett, Tiana Hogben & Liz Esguerra.
